Bevor wir wieder Richtung Süden fahren, wollten wir erst noch einmal Richtung Norden und zwar nach Hvide Sande. Zuvor aber mussten wir auch dieses “Strand mit dem Auto”-Ding testen und machten einen kleinen Umweg über den Strand, den wir üblicherweise zu Fuß begingen.
Anschließend fuhren wir ca. eine Stunde nach Hvide Sande, genauer genommen direkt zum Leuchtturm, Lyngvig Fyr. Erstes konkretes Ziel vor Ort: Der Spielplatz. Marie war nicht aufzuhalten, nachdem sie den Flying Fox entdeckte.
Anschließend sind wir über die Düne zum Strand gelaufen. Es war ein ähnliches Bild, wie in Vejers Strand, ein breiter, endloser Sandstrand, der kleine Abstieg am Ende der Düne und eine satte Brise aus Richtung der See. Wirklich schön hier!
Auch schon an der Ostsee waren immer wieder überall Schilder zu sehen, dass man hier und dort nicht ins Gebüsch reinlaufen sollte, weil dort Kreuzottern lebten. Dass wir aber wirklich eine zu Gesicht bekommen, hätte keiner von uns gedacht. Während des Rückwegs vom Strand zum Leuchtturm hatten wir eben jene Begegnung der ungewöhnlichen Art, eine Kreuzotter überquerte den kleinen Weg und war auch rasch wieder verschwunden. Unglaublich!
Die kleine Hafenstadt Hvide Sande hat eine interessante Position auf der Landkarte, sie liegt auf einer sogenannten Nehrung. Muss man erstmal Wikipedia befragen. Eine Nehrung ist ein schmaler Sandstreifen, welcher ein Haff oder auch Bodden, also eine Art See, vom offenen Meer trennt. Mindestens für Surfer ist das eine interessante Konstellation, da sich im Haff natürlich keine Wellen auftürmen, der Wind kommt aber natürlich dennoch durch. Perfekte Surfbedingungen.
